Station Description
The monitoring station Susak is located away from the shore and islands towards the open sea. The location is relatively close to one of the main shipping lanes to Rijeka port, but far away from the recreational boating hot-spots. The anthropogenic underwater noise pressure is expected to be low to moderate. It is an area of importance for sea turtles and a potential open - water Natura 2000 site. This underwater monitoring stations is placed at a depth of 55 meters.
