The I-STORMS Web System (IWS) is the data portal of the I-STORMS project. It is a combination of a data system for sharing ocean measurements and forecasts, a multi-model forecasting system, a geoportal and interactive geo-visualization tools to make results available to the general public (Open I-STORMS).

The IWS has been developed in the I-STORMS project (under the Interreg ADRION programme). The I-STORM project, ended in 2020, had the aim is to enhance transnational cooperation sharing knowledge, data & forecasts through a common infrastructure, joint strategies to deal with sea storm emergencies, improving at the same time countries' capacities on data interoperability, early warning & civil protection procedures, in alignment with the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.
